Who We Are
Project Nature.
Ayasi Children’s Foundation is a non-profit and Community Based Project founded as orphanage in 2023 by a married couple, Sylvia Birungi (wife) who is a teacher in secondary school and Ayasi Kibombo (husband) who is a builder in construction, with deep compassion to help orphaned and vulnerable children.
Location.
Ayasi Foundation was started in the community of Buwolero Village, Buwenge Subcounty, Jinja District in Eastern Region of Uganda.
Our Approach
We Help Orphans for Better Future
There are many orphaned and vulnerable children who started to steal people’s properties, and an increase of early pregnancies and child marriages in the community of Buwolero Village.
We provide orphans with basic needs for their daily lives and scholastic materials for their education.
We are currently supporting 35 children in rented houses to ensure that they acquire knowledge and skills through education services.

- To provide a holistic transformation of young people and disadvantaged communities by offering training, empowering and exposure of life-changing innovations.
- To mobilize resources and establish educational opportunities for vulnerable children.
- To ensure that children are safe, and protected at home in schools and communities.
- To support community initiatives with focus on using sustainable technologies to enhance development.
- To build capacity and sensitize children and communities on sexual reproductive health, rights and other preventable viral illness like HIV and chronic disease.

Ayasi Children’s Foundation is fully registered under the Number: JC/483/CBO/2024 as COMMUNITY BASED ORGANIZATION.
Permit to Operate.
Ayasi Children’s Foundation is permitted to operate under the Number: JC/483/CBO/2024 as COMMUNITY BASED ORGANIZATION with subject to the following conditions:
- This organization shall operate in Jinja City.
- The organization shall implement its Objectives and Activities as laid down in its constitution.
